Mission & Vision
We are a Christian homeschool hybrid tutorial program that seeks to integrate the benefits of classroom learning with the independence of schooling at home. Our approach prioritizes social development through free play, creativity through the arts, and developmentally appropriate academics enhanced by the camaraderie of group learning. We teach from a Christian worldview and cover a full range of subjects for kindergarten through fourth grade with teachers teaching two full days per week. The curriculum and schedule is inspired by the British educator, Charlotte Mason, and prioritizes academic rigor and creativity as well as providing ample time for free play and time outdoors.
Our vision is to create a safe environment full of enrichment and creativity for homeschool children in the Wayne County area. We hope to support homeschooled children and parents in their pursuit of learning by providing an opportunity to be a part of a community of people along the same mission. Our desire for every child that walks through our doors is that they would experience the truth, goodness, and beauty of God from the books they read, the people they meet, and the creation they enjoy.
Charlotte Mason, 19th Century Education Philosopher
“We hold that all education is divine, that every good gift of knowledge and insight comes from above.”
Charlotte Mason, 19th Century Education Philosopher
“An observant child should be put in the way of things worth observing.”
Best of Both Worlds
We are a collaborative education that seeks to implement the best elements of a classical christian education and homeschooling.
Using Charlotte Mason’s principles, we partner to provide a beautiful academic program that points to the beauty of their creator. Students attend school two days a week with a qualified teacher.
Weekly Schedule
Monday: at home
Tuesday: on campus school day (9:15-2:30)
Wednesday: at home
Thursday: on campus school day (9:15-2:30)
Friday: at home
*Study Center Option: Supplemental Language Arts & Math, Tues. & Thurs. Beginning 8:30-9:00.
The Study Center option is an optional service for families looking to have their child instructed in Language Arts and Math on both program days before the hybrid program begins. This can reduce the burden on the homeschool parent and is a great option for part-time working parents or those with schedule limitations that still desire a homeschool hybrid environment for their children.
